Head coach Charles Adams has seen a lot while being the bench boss for the Polars, but nothing like what 2020 has done for him and his team.
While most people would like to forget this year with all that’s gone on with a pandemic, Minneapolis North has had many changes all for the better.
"We’ve gotten a major facelift to our stadium, new turf, new lights and we’ve nearly tripled in the size of our team, it’s been great. Now that we have a season this fall, it’s coming together for us, something this community can really rally around," said Adams.

Last year, the Polars lost to Caledonia in the Class 2A Prep Bowl 26-0, but if you ask anyone on the Polars team this year, they’d love to have another chance at beating them (Caledonia) this year even if it was a regular-season game.
"I want it! I want it! Why not? What coach for? I have to if these kids don’t believe in it and I don’t, what’s the point? Yes! I want them," Adams exclaimed!
Minneapolis North has some solid players on both sides of the ball. At quarterback, Zach Yeager is calling the signals. He’s committed to playing his college ball at North Carolina A&T next year.
Terrance Kamara is the star running back with nearly 20 college scholarship offers.
On the defensive side, it’s 6’7 225-pound defensive end Davon Townley, who’s turning heads. He has more than a dozen offers from colleges around the country, including the Gophers.
