Just a week after helping Tampa win the Super Bowl, Minneapolis native and former Gophers WR Tyler Johnson is already preparing for next season.
We caught up with him during a training session Monday at Training Haus in Eagan.

Johnson was pointed that he feels like he’s behind other players who started training in January. But, of course, he wouldn’t trade winning the Super Bowl for anything.
We talked with Johnson about the thrill of winning a title, earning the trust of QB Tom Brady, the key 3rd down catch he had in the playoff win over New Orleans, the pride he takes in being from North Minneapolis, and more.
Johnson had two touchdowns in the regular season and could see his role increase with the Bucs in his second year. Fellow wideouts Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown are free agents.
