Taylor Holm is the captain of the Maple Grove girls high school hockey team, leading her team to this week’s state tournament.

She is not only a great leader, but she is also an elite player who earned a Division 1 hockey scholarship at Post University in Connecticut.

She wanted to thank all 21 coaches and mentors who helped her along her hockey journey. She did it the old fashioned way and the impact was heartfelt.

Joe Schmit and photojournalist Scott Wise put the story together.
