Fowles was the Finals MVP in 2015, the regular season league MVP in 2017. She’s also a multi-time winner of the Defensive Player of the Year award.
Fowles set the league record for most career double-doubles in 2019 and continues to add to her total with eight this season.
The two-time WNBA champion also owns the records for most career rebounds (3,974) and single-season rebounds (404). She also has the highest career field goal percentage at 60%.
There is still a chance for Fowles and the Lynx to make the playoffs.
Atlanta (14-19) is tied with the Phoenix Mercury for the eighth, and final playoff spot with a week remaining in the regular season — a half-game ahead of the New York Liberty (13-19) and a game in front of Minnesota (13-20) and the Los Angeles Sparks (13-20).
