Lynx sign guard Smalls to hardship contract
The Minnesota Lynx have added another player on a hardship contract.
Kamiah Smalls, the No. 28 pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft, signed with the Lynx on Wednesday. She’s expected to be available for the team’s game Wednesday night in Atlanta.
The James Madison University product played recently for Poland’s AZS-UMCS Lublin, where she averaged 16.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in 27 BLK appearances.
The signing of Smalls comes a day after the Lynx signed center Elissa Cunane to a hardship contract.
