Lynx intro top draft pick Herbert Harrigan via ‘virtual’ press conference

Typically, a new draftee’s introduction comes with fanfare and player holding up their new jersey of their new team. For the Minnesota Lynx’ first round pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft, it came on a video chat with a Lynx virtual background.

Kiki Herbert Harrigan met the media in a video chat press conference on Tuesday morning.

Appearing from her home in Florida, Herbert Harrington discussed the opportunity she has as she enters the WNBA with the Lynx, a longstanding relationship she has with Lynx center Sylvia Fowles and the lessons she learned being part of an NCAA Championship-winning team at the University of South Carolina.
