Lynx forward Napheesa Collier named Western Conference Player of the Week
Monday, the WNBA named Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier the Western Conference Player of the Week (POTW) for games played last week.
This marks Collier’s second POTW award in her career and the first this season.
The Lynx, in third place in the WNBA standings with a 7-3 overall record, were helped by their forward who averaged 18.3 points on 46.2% shooting, including 42.9% from the three-point line, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.7 steals in 32.7 minutes played per game.
Collier ranks 13th in the WNBA in scoring (14.9 points per game), third in rebounding (9 rebounds per game), sixth in steals (1.7 steals per game) and sixth among forwards in assists (3.3 assists per game), according to a news release.
