Lynx acquire 2022 first-round draft pick from Seattle in exchange for forward Herbet-Harrigan
The Minnesota Lynx announced a trade on Wednesday that will send forward Mikiah Herbert-Harrigan to the Seattle Storm in exchange for a 2022 first-round pick, that originally belonged to the Phoenix Mercury.
Herbert-Harrigan, 21, played in 21 games for Minnesota this past season. She averaged 3.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 11.1 minutes of action per game. Her best game was against the Dallas Wings when she tallied 10 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in 20 minutes off the bench.
The Florida-native helped South Carolina to two SEC regular season titles and an NCAA Championship prior to being drafted sixth overall in the 2020 WNBA Draft.
