Loons rally for 2-2 tie with Chicago

Minnesota United has a 7-match unbeaten streak following Wednesday’s 2-2 draw vs. Chicago at Allianz Field. The Loons overcame a 2-0 deficit.

Chicago held the lead until late in the match, when Minnesota’s Robin Lod struck for the tying goal 10 minutes from full time.

Minnesota scored its first in the 64th minute, as Jose Aja stuck his leg out to get his foot to a free kick from Emanuel Reynoso. Lod then struck for an 80th-minute tying goal that allowed the Loons to snatch a point. Lod used his head after a crossing pass by Romain Metanire.
