Loons GK Tyler Miller discusses MLS FIFA20 tourney, staying in touch with teammates

After joining Minnesota United in the offseason, goalie Tyler Miller won his first two games with the Loons thanks in part to having ten players in front of him. But he’ll be all alone next time he represents his club.
Miller is the Loons representative in the upcoming single-elimination Major League Soccer FIFA20 video game tournament.

MLS players from sixteen teams will take part in the nationally-televised tournament that gets underway Sunday, April 19th. Miller’s first match for United is in Week Two – on Sunday, April 26th.

The MLS players from each club will play head-to-head in the bracketed draw, while representatives from each club’s "eMLS" video game team will also face off. The winning team will be determined by total goals in the two matches.
Miller and United’s eMLS representative Jay Adams will face players from Sporting Kansas City in their opening round match.
Former Minnesota United captain Francisco Calvo is playing for Chicago in the first match of the tournament.
