The Athletes Helping Families collection drive was held in the Gangelhoff Center parking lot. Hundreds of volunteers gathered as droves of cars came to donate water, diapers, clothes, toothpaste and other essential supplies for those in need in St. Paul.
Among the volunteers was Minnehaha Academy basketball star, and future Gonzaga player, Jalen Suggs. Suggs spoke about how the event showed how close the Twin Cities community really is.
