Lakeville South volleyball sweeps Prior Lake

The Lakeville South Cougars volleyball team swept the Prior Lake Lakers 3-0, Tuesday evening at Prior Lake High School.

South was in control of the first set, but Prior Lake put together a comeback to tie the score at 23. But, South’s senior captain Ava Moes had two-straight blocks for the Cougars to give them the first set win with a score of 25-23.
In the second set, Prior Lake again made it a tight end to the set, but, again, South held strong to finish the set with a win. Senior Kendyl Storlie had a monster kill to end the second set 25-20, in favor of the Cougars.
South was in control of the third set from the beginning. Prior Lake cut the score to 24-22, but then sophomore Emily Moes had the match-winning kill to give the Cougars the 25-22 set win and giving South the match sweep.
