On the first drive of the game for Cretn-Derham Hall, Lakeville North’s Gavin Dugan intercepted a pass and took it to the house to make it 6-0 Panthers 46 seconds in.

On North’s next drive, running back Logan Freeburg scored on a run to make it 12-0. Lakeville then coverted their two-point conversion to make it a 14-0 ball game with 9:37 left in the first quarter. Following a Raiders fumble, running back Gavyn Schraufnagel scored on a run to put Lakeville up 21-0 not even four minutes into the first quarter.

Later in the first, Freeburg struck again with another touchdown run to put the Panthers up 28-0 with 4:32 left in the first quarter.

Then, late in the second quarter, Lakeville faced a 3rd-and-22 on their 35-yard line when quarterback Matt Miller hit wideout Cooper Laufenburger for a touchdown to put the Panthers up 35-0 with just over a minute left in the half.

Lakeville North received the second half opening kickoff and continued their dominance. Wideout Najee Nelson took some snaps as the Wildcat quarterback and had a couple of nice runs to put North in great field position. That field position setup Freeburg for his third touchdown run of the game to make it 42-0 Panthers with 7:27 left in the third quarter.

But, Freeburg was not done with his big day quite yet. On North’s next possession, Freeburg took a handoff right up the middle for a 72- yard touchdown run, his fourth touchdown of the day, to make it 49-0 Panthers.

Both teams added some additional scoring to make it a 55-14 final score.
