Ibrahim named to Walter Camp Preseason All-America team

University of Minnesota Golden Gophers running back Mohamed Ibrahim has been named to the 2021 Walter Camp Preseason All-America team.
Ibrahim was named Big Ten Running Back of the Year last season, as well as All-Big Ten First Team and AP Third-Team All-America after rushing for 1,076 yards and 15 touchdowns on 201 carries.
The redshirt senior ranks ninth in program history with 2,840 yards despite only playing in 28 games. He’s also sixth in school history with 31 rushing touchdowns and tied for first with three 200-yard rushing games in his career. He’s also the only Gopher to ever run for 100 yards in eight consecutive games.
Minnesota opens this season on Sept. 2 against Ohio State.
