Hopkins SS Maddox Mihalakis has high hopes before heading to Arizona

Shortstop Maddox Mihalakis has been turning heads for years at Hopkins high school. Mihalakis is hoping to get his opportunity to win a state title before he heads off to play at the University of Arizona. Heading to a storied program like Arizona puts Mihalakis at the top of the best players in the state.

Mihalakis is honing his craft to be able to play multiple positions to make him that much more college-ready when he plays for the Wildcats.

One of the things that Maddox is enjoying is having his father, Jason, as his coach. Hopkins is currently 2-0 on the season. They are hoping to get back to state this year after falling in the quarterfinals in 2021.
