Hill-Murray boys hockey ready for section final game Friday

The Hill-Murray boys hockey team will get a chance to avenge last year’s section final loss. They have moved on to the Section 4, 2A final on Friday night at Aldrich Arena. They’ll play the winner of the Stillwater-White Bear Lake semifinal game.
KSTP Sports caught up with coach Bill Lechner after a recent practice, and he noted that he likes how his team is rolling right now.

The Pioneers won state championships in 1983, 1991 and 2008. They have advanced to the title game a total of 11 times.
