Gophers women’s basketball game vs. Northwestern rescheduled

The University of Minnesota women’s basketball team’s game against Northwestern has been rescheduled.

The game, which was originally set for Dec. 31, will now be played on Feb. 11 at 3:30 p.m. The reason for the postponement was COVID-19 issues in the Northwestern program.

According to conference rules, at least seven scholarship players and one coach must be available for a game to be played.

Tickets for the Dec. 31 game will be accepted on Feb. 11, the U of M says. Any ticket holders who can’t attend the rescheduled game may exchange the tickets for any other 2021-22 regular-season game.

Anyone who has questions or wants to exchange tickets can contact GopherSports@umn.edu.
