Gophers remain winless on road after loss at Indiana

Indiana defeated the Gophers 82-72 on Wednesday night in Bloomington, Ind. The Hoosiers were led by Trayce Jackson-Davis, who had 20 points and 10 rebound

The Gophers and Indiana were tied at 55 with just over eight minutes left in the game. The Gophers did not score for the next three minutes, and did not make a field goal attempt for nearly six minutes. During that time, the Hoosiers went on an 18-2 run.

With the loss, the Gophers fall to 13-9 on the season and 6-9 in conference play. Eight of those nine losses are on the road, with seven of eight by double-digits. Marcus Carr and Jamal Mashburn Jr. each had 19 points. Mashburn Jr. earned his first start with the news that Gabe Kalscheur will be out a while with a broken finger on his shooting hand.

The Gophers held a two point lead at the half.
