Gophers men’s basketball team will play at Pittsburgh in Big Ten/ACC Challenge

It’ll be a battle of Marcus Carr’s two former teams as the Gophers travel to Pittsburgh in November for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. ESPN announced all the matchups on Monday.

The Gophers and Panthers will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Pittsburgh, with game time information to be announced at a later date. The 2021 campaign marks the 23rd year of the Challenge.

This will be the first Big Ten/ACC meeting between the two teams. Minnesota is 11-11 all-time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

The Gophers will also have a non-conference road game at Mississippi State, and will play in a tourney in North Carolina in mid-November that will feature two games.
