Gophers men’s basketball game against Penn State postponed
An upcoming University of Minnesota Gophers men’s basketball game has been postponed.
According to the university, the team’s Wednesday game against Penn State has been postponed "due to internal COVID-19 protocols within the Golden Gopher program."
The athletics programs for both schools will coordinate with the Big Ten Conference office to reschedule the game.
The Gophers played without four team members in Sunday’s game against Iowa, according to the university, and following additional testing Monday, the team fell below the Big Ten Conference roster minimum.
The next scheduled game for the Gophers is Saturday at 11 a.m. against Rutgers.
