The Gophers football team is in a mid-season slump in the form of a three game losing streak after a 45-17 road loss to Penn State last Saturday.
Minnesota has a chance to snap the three game skid this Saturday at home against Rutgers.
Gophers linebacker Thomas Rush and offensive lineman John Michael Schmitz spoke to the media on Tuesday, both confident this team can shake off the loses.
“Doing your job, doing your responsibility, knowing what you are going to get and executing your job when the time comes,” said Rush. “I think that is the baseline for what the emphasis is for us defensively and getting back on track and getting back to who we’ve been this season and past years.”
