Gophers football coach Fleck reviews first few days of training camp

The Gophers granted access for the first time this training camp, and KSTP Sports was there on Saturday afternoon. With weather concerns, practice was moved indoors at Athletes Village.

6th-year coach P.J. Fleck met with reporters afterwards and touched on a myriad of topics. He noted how much he enjoys coaching this roster, how athletic this group is, how dialed in they are.

The best news during Saturday’s fully-padded practice was the sight of running back Mo Ibrahim. He is fully cleared after tearing his Achilles tendon 11 months ago.

The Gophers open the 2022 season Sept. 1 at home vs. Jerry Kill and New Mexico St.
