Fleck led the Gophers to a rock-solid nine wins in 2021, but they fell short of winning the Big Ten West. With Fleck entering his sixth year at Minnesota, that’s the clear next goal.
Good news: Running back Mo Ibrahim is doing great, will be able to do non-contact work during spring practice. He suffered an Achilles injury in the season opener Sept. 2 vs. Ohio St. and missed the rest of the year.
“Mo is good, Mo is ready to roll. He looks great, feels great,” Fleck said.
The Gophers will have two spring practices open to the public.
Practices on April 5 and April 16 will be open to the public and free to attend. The April 5 practice is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. while the April 16 practice is set to start at 11 a.m.
In addition, the Gophers will have their annual spring game – which is also free to attend – at 1 p.m. on April 30 at Huntington Bank Stadium.
