Gophers coach Johnson on 4-0 start, next game vs. Jacksonville

The Gophers will try and get to 5-0 Wednesday night when Jacksonville visits Williams Arena. Head coach Ben Johnson previewed the game Tuesday and touched on why his team is off to this solid start.

This is the fifth time in the last six years that the Gophers have started the season 4-0.

Forward Jamison Battle is averaging a team-best 18.8 points per game. Following Wednesday’s game vs. Jacksonville, the schedule will be a lot more challenging. Road games at Pittsburgh and Mississippi State are followed by a home game vs. Michigan St. and a road game at Michigan.
