Gophers’ Carr to test NBA waters

Gophers sophomore guard Marcus Carr is declaring for the 2020 NBA Draft.
Carr announced that he will pursue a professional career on his Instagram account Monday night.
Carr averaged 15.4 points per game and a led the team with 6.7 assists per game during his sophomore season. He will not hire an agent, so returning to the Gophers is still a possibility.
Carr sat out the 2018-2019 season after transferring to the University of Minnesota from Pitt.
Gophers sophomore center Daniel Oturu declared for the NBA Draft last week.
