Whalen discussed the ability for a team to take another team’s proverbial punch and be able to respond, the team’s chemistry building, Powell’s improvement from last year to this year, Powell’s three-point shot, if Powell’s play as a point guard can lift the team to play better as a whole, and if she thinks the team is responding to losses well.

Powell talked about the key to putting a good four quarters together, if she feels the team went away from the gameplan against Iowa in the second half, what area of her game she has improved the most, how she improved her three-point shot over the offseason, and if there has been frustration with the team to the start of the Big Ten Conference play.
