Girls State Hockey AA Semi: Andover rallies to beat Tonka in OT thriller

Just 18 seconds into overtime Andover junior forward Gabby Krause found herself free on the edge of the left circle and wristed a shot over Skippers junior goaltender Brynn Dulac giving Andover a 4-3 win over Minnetonka (22-7-1).

The Skippers appeared destined for the championship game when junior defenseman Hanna Baskin rebound broke a 2-2 tie with 2:03 left in regulation.
Minnetonka however took a penalty for checking just 29 seconds later.
The Huskies pulled senior net minder Amanda Pelkey and were skating 6-on-4 when junior forward Peyton Hemp, got her second goal of the game and made it 3-3. Krause’s game winner sends Andover (27-2-0) into Saturday night’s championship game against the winner of Edina-Maple Grove contest.
