Girls Hockey: #2 Edina stays unbeaten w/ win over Eden Prairie

The No. 2 (Class 4A) Edina Hornets girls hockey team defeated the Eden Prairie Eagles 3-0 Saturday evening at Braemar Arena.

The Hornets started the scoring off the first shift of the game when Vivian Jungles scored from the blue line to make it 1-0 Edina just 21 seconds into the game.
The score would remain 1-0 until the second period when Jungles set up future Gopher college teammate Emma Conner to make it 2-0 Edina with just 1:07 left in the period.
In the third, Hannah Chorske scored for the Hornets to make it 3-0. Senior Goaltender Sarah Swann finished the game with an eight save shut out.
