As a sophomore last season, Oturu led the Big Ten in rebounding and blocked shots.
The 6-foot-10 Oturu averaged 20 points, 11 rebounds and 2.6 blocks for the Gophers and received first-team All-Big 10 defensive team honors. Oturu is likely to become the first Gopher to get drafted since Kris Humphries in 2004, with many pundits suggesting he’ll go in the first round.

Oturu is currently in the middle of a 10-week training cycle at a high performance center in Santa Barbara, California. He’ll soon begin interviewing virtually with interested NBA front offices.
