Former Vikings running back Dalvin Cook signs with New York Jets

Former Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook agreed to a one-year contract with the New York Jets on Monday, ESPN reports.

The deal is worth $7 guaranteed with Cook able to earn another $1.6 million in incentives.

Cook spent the first six seasons of his NFL career with the Vikings after they drafted him in the third round in 2017. Cook compiled 7,787 total yards and scored 52 touchdowns in Minnesota. The Vikings released Cook on June 9 after failing to find a trade partner.
