Former Gophers Tyler Johnson, Antoine Winfield prepare for Super Bowl

They may be NFL rookies with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but former Gophers Tyler Johnson and Antoine Winfield Jr are about to play on their sport’s grandest stage – the Super Bowl.

The duo also gets the perk of being on the first Super Bowl participant ever to be able to play the game in their home stadium.

The Buccaneers face Kansas City in Super Bowl LV on Sunday.

Johnson is a graduate of Minneapolis North High School. Winfield, who grew up in Texas, is the son of former Vikings defensive back Antoine Winfield Sr.
