Smith ran for 1,163 yards in 2019, averaging 5.1 yards/carry. He also finished with 8 touchdowns, wrapping up his Gophers career with 29.
He was part of former coach Jerry Kill’s 2014 Recruiting Class, red-shirting his first year, then later was granted a medical red-shirt year.
