Former Gopher Rem Pitlick looking forward to opportunity with Wild

Plymouth native and former Gopher Rem Pitlick met with reporters Thursday at the "X" following his first practice as a member of the Wild. He’ll make his Wild debut Saturday in a preseason game at Chicago. Pitlick can play center and wing.

Pitlick, 24, tallied two assists in 10 games with Nashville last season. He made his NHL debut with the Predators at Minnesota on March 25, 2019. He owns two assists in 11 career NHL games. Pitlick was selected by Nashville in the third round of the 2016 NHL Draft.

Pitlick played three seasons for the Gophers and led the ‘U’ in scoring in 2018-19 with 45 points in 38 games.
