Former Concordia-St. Paul/DCTC basketball coach Kelly Boe battling cystic fibrosis

Kelly Boe has coached basketball over 20 years. But recently he was diagosed with cystic fibrosis. Upon learning the news, Boe decided to step down from the Dakota County Technical College head coaching position that he held for three seasons.

His teams won the NJCAA District VII and Region XIII championships and advanced to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament during all three seasons he led DCTC.

Coach Boe is a three-time District VII and Region XIII Coach of the Year. His teams produced three NJCAA All-Americans and six All-Region Players.

Previous to his stint at DCTC, Boe was the head coach of Concordia University-St. Paul where he went 100-93 over seven seasons.
