Forest Lake native Matt Wallner struggled early with AAA-St. Paul, but he’s been on fire recently. Last week, the Twins’ top outfield prospect had nine RBIs and even hit for the cycle on Thursday. That was the first cycle in Saints history.

We caught up with Wallner to relive his historic night, and to ask him about one day joining the Twins.

Wallner owns a .303/.437/.587 slash line with 5 homers after his slow 10-game start.

The Twins selected Wallner, 24, with the 39th pick in the 2019 Draft. He can play right field and left field.
