Farmington girls basketball holds on to beat Eden Prairie, advances to Class 4A semifinals

The Farmington Tigers girls basketball team defeated the Eden Prairie Eagles 58-54 at Williams Arena to advnace to the class 4A semifinals.

Tigers junior Paige Kindseth, junior center Sophie Hart and junior guard Peyton Blandin each made a free throw in the final 37 seconds of regulation to help send Farmington to the semifinals.

The victory sends the No. 2-seeded Tigers (28-2) into the big-school semifinals against the winner between St. Michael-Albertville and Lakeville North. Blandin had 18 points for the Tigers and Kindseth had 13 points and 10 rebounds. Hart had 16 rebonds to go with six points.
