Minneapolis native Ade Murkey has already interviewed with a few NBA teams, hoping for them to take notice of his run at the University of Denver. We connected with Murkey
Murkey is a 2016 graduate of St. Croix Lutheran high school. He then went on to a solid career at the University of Denver. As a senior, Murkey averaged 18.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, and was one of the better defenders in the Summit League.

Murkey was voted to the 2020 All-Summit League second team. His season highlight was scoring a Denver Division-1 program record of 42 points vs. South Dakota State on February 14th.
Murkey has spoken to the hometown Timberwolves, the Clippers, and other NBA teams, and he also has considered playing professionally in Europe. But his first dream would be to stay state-side and continue his basketball career.
