With the green light from the Minnesota State High School League, the Eden Prairie football team was back at work on Monday morning. It was their first gathering since school was shutdown in mid-March, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
KSTP Sports talked with long-time Eagles head coach Mike Grant and 2021 defensive end Justice Sullivan, an Iowa Hawkeyes commitment.

Monday was the first time all Minnesota high school teams could gather for summer conditioning work.
The Eagles lost in the state playoffs to Rosemount last year. That kept the Eagles out of the quarterfinal round of the state tournament’s largest class for the first time since 2004.
Between 2005 and 2019, Eden Prairie won seven big-school state championships.
