DE Everson Griffen to work out with Vikings

Free agent defensive end Everson Griffen is scheduled to work out with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday, a source told KSTP Sports.
Griffen spent 10 seasons with the Vikings from 2010-19, appearing in 147 games, 88 of which were starts. Over the course of his tenure with the Vikings, he recorded 86 tackles for loss and 74.5 sacks, which rank third and fourth in franchise history.

Prior to the 2020 season, Griffen signed a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys but was traded to the Detroit Lions midway through the season.
