Dantas, Jefferson cleared to return to play; Smalls released
The Minnesota Lynx say two players have been cleared to play following injuries.
According to the team, forward Damiris Dantas and guard Moriah Jefferson have been cleared as of Friday afternoon.
Dantas and Jefferson will both be able to play against the Mystics on Friday night.
Jefferson strained a left quadricep last month during a game against the Sparks on May 29.
Meanwhile, Dantas is now able to return after her season was cut short last year by a Lisfranc injury in her right foot against the New York Liberty in August.
Due to the clearings, guard Kamiah Smalls has been released from a hardship contract.
