Two Minnesota Timberwolves are paying it forward for an upcoming game, literally.
On Monday, D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns announced on the team’s Twitter account they have purchased 1,000 tickets each for fans to Wednesday’s home game against the Charlotte Hornets.
All tickets were claimed within minutes after the announcement was made.
Wednesday’s game is on @Dloading and @KarlTowns.

"I’ve felt the love from Timberwolves fans since I first stepped foot in Minnesota," Russell said in the video. "Karl and I are so excited for what’s ahead so in appreciation of all the support, we wanted to give fans tickets to a game."
