Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders boys hoops is a team to be reckoned with in 2021. Head coach Jerry Kline has 10 seniors, so the bar for success is set pretty high.
"After winning the section finals last season and then the next day shutting it down we had a lot left in the tank," CDH head coach Jerry Kline told KSTP Sports. "We’re just grateful for this opportunity to play."

While the Raiders have a lot of seniors, it’s junior guard Tre Holloman who leads the way. He’s being heavily recruited by some solid college programs, including Michigan State and Minnesota.
Holloman recognizes how important this year is for himself and his team.
"I’d love the chance to play in a state tournament, if we have one. But if we only got a chance to play in sections, I’d still be happy," Holloman told KSTP Sports.
Whether there will be a boys state basketball tournament remains up in the air. But many coaches are hopeful that plans will come together for one.
Holloman also has interest from Arkansas, Nebraska, and Indiana, just to name a few. He also feels the 2022 Class will be the best class Minnesota has ever produced in high school basketball. Holloman has full confidence in himself, his team and his graduating class.
The Raiders’ first game of the 2021 season is set for Friday night at 7 p.m., on the road against Mounds View.
