QB Cousins, RB Cook preview Sunday’s Vikings game at Green Bay
If the Vikings win their final two games — at Green Bay, at Chicago — they will be, at worst, the 2 seed in the NFC. Win their final two and have Philadelphia lose its final two — home vs. New Orleans, home vs. Giants — and Minnesota would be the 1 seed.
However, if the Vikings lose one of their final two games and if San Francisco wins out — at Vegas, home vs. Arizona — they fall to the 3 seed.
In other words, these last two games for the Vikings carry plenty of importance. The 2 seed guarantees you at least two home playoff games (assuming you win opening round).
Sunday’s game at Green Bay and its importance came up with QB Kirk Cousins and RB Dalvin Cook in the locker room on Wednesday afternoon.

The Vikings are 3.5 point underdogs. The Packers have a three-game winning streak, the Vikings two.
