It’s the final regular season weekend for the Gophers men’s hockey team and with some help, they can win a Big Ten title.
Trailing Michigan by two points in the Big Ten standings, the Gophers can win the Big Ten if they sweep Wisconsin this weekend at home and/or get help from Notre Dame, who plays the Wolverines.
The Gophers can’t finish below second place no matter what happens this weekend.
We spoke this week with Gophers coach Bob Motzko, who is loving how his team has been playing the last few weeks.

The No. 4 Gophers (21-11) have swept three-straight series, defeating Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State. The series wins vs. the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions came on the road.
