Cloquet-Carlton beats St. Francis to advance to Class AA girls soccer semifinals

No. 5 seed Cloquet-Carlton got an early goal and held on to beat No. 4 seed St. Francis. They move on to the Class AA semifinals in the girls state soccer tournament.

Cloquet’s Katie Turner scored the lone goal in the first half and teammate Katelyn Olson played flawlessly in goal to help the Lumberjacks advance to the state semifinals.
Cloquet-Carlton will face top-seed Benilde-St. Margaret’s on Nov. 4 at 12:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium.
