Class 6A Football Quarterfinal: St. Michael-Albertville upsets Wayzata, 14-7
St. Michael-Albertville got a huge lift from senior running back Jarrett Bennett as the Knights upset Wayzata 14-7 in the Class 6A quarterfinals at Park Center High School.

Both teams put together 74-yard drives to score touchdowns in the second quarter and it was 7-7 at halftime.
Bennett gave STMA the winning score with under two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter with a 35-yard run for his second touchdown of the game.
With five-seconds remaining in the game, Wayzata quarterback Ryan Harvey’s pass to the end zone was incomplete as time expired and St. Michael-Albertville upset Wayzata to advance to the Class 6A semifinals next week at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Next up in the semifinals, the Knights will face the winner of the Lakeville South vs. Shakopee game that takes place on Friday night.
