Class 4A State Baseball Tourney: Farmington beats Mounds View 1-0

Farmington’s Korey Dahlberg pitches a three-hit shutout to propel the Farmington Tigers past the Mounds View Mustangs 1-0 at the Chaska Athletic Park in the Class 4A state quarterfinals.

Dahlberg was never threatened in the game. The Concordia-St. Paul commitment had six strikeouts, as he went head-to-head vs Mounds View’s Ben Rosin. Rosin also pitched a complete game, striking out eight and giving up four hits and one run.
With the win, Farmington moves on to the semifinals and will face Minnetonka Wednesday at noon in Chaska.
Minnetonka upset top-ranked Stillwater 6-5 in eight innings to reach the state semifinals.
