In battle of powerhouse girls basketball teams, Chaska tops Benilde-St. Margaret’s

Led by senior guard Kennedy Sanders and her 42 points, the Chaska Hawks defeated the Benilde-St. Margaret’s Red Knights 92-83 on Tuesday night. Sanders is a Colorado commit. KSTP Sports was in attendance.

The game was tied at 77 with three minutes left. Michigan commit and Benilde-St. Margaret’s junior guard Olivia Olson scored 36 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop Chaska.
Chaska is now 10 -1, while Benilde-St. Margaret’s is 7-3.
Chaska will take on Orono this Friday at 7 p.m. and Benilde-St. Margaret’s faces New Prague this Friday at 7 p.m.
