Chanhassen softball powers past Chaska 7-1

Chanhassen’s Sydney Schwartz pitched a one-hitter, while teammate Susie Tollefson collected four hits en route to a 7-1 victory over Chaska on Friday.
Schwartz dialed in on the Chaska hitters, collecting 12 strikeouts. The Hawks didn’t score until the seventh inning — by then the Storm was well on their way to winning.

Chanhassen scored early and often. Karina Tolberg pushed two runs across with a two-run single to left in the third inning giving the Storm a 3-0 lead. Susie Tollefson couldn’t be stopped — she went 4-for-4 — including a double and a solo home run to center field.
Chanhassen’s defense clamped down on the Chaska bats as the Storm improved to 7-2 on the season.
