Chanhassen pitcher Sydney Schwartz pitches perfect game in win over Burnsville

Chanhassen’s Sydney Schwartz had a game for the record books as she pitched a perfect game against Burnsville in the team’s 8-0 win on Tuesday afternoon.

Schwartz was on fire from the start; she struck out the first five batters she faced against Burnsville. Schwartz finished with 16 strikeouts and also had a two-run home run to her credit as well.
Schwartz is currently a junior and is committed to play at the University of Minnesota.
With the win, Chanhassen advances to the Class 4A Section 2 Semifinals.
